Phase 1

This phase will build on WHO AM I? (Phase 1): understanding SMART goals, managing expectations and using goal setting effectively to improve performance.
Phase 2
“COPING STRATEGIES & MANAGEMENT”
Finally, you will learn how to create & adapt your own strategies to deal with stressors & high-pressure environments.

Meet your MENTOR
Emily Borthwick
Olympian
Professional Athlete
MSc Sport Psychology
Founder of Borth Mind & Body
With over two decades of athletic experience, Emily began her professional career as a Great Britain High Jumper in 2021. Notably competing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2022 World Athletics Championships.
She has helped young aspiring athletes navigate their development, elite professionals discover the attention to detail in movement and inspire the world of track and field. Emily has overcome highs, lows, injury, grief and the rollercoaster that is being a professional athlete.
She is our current 4th best ALL TIME high jumper in the UK, and is working towards the next Olympic Games in LA 2028.
